A Visit to the Museum

An old mosaic dating back to the 2nd Century. It's a picture of a drunken Hercules.
The remains of a ceremonial chariot. It was not used in war, just celebrations.
Read the description of this below.

The old Roman Coliseum that is still used for concerts today.

On the day we went with Bishop Cuche, we started out at the Museum. It had all kinds of stuff dating back to Roman times. There are so many things here that are 1000's of years old that I think they take some of it for granted. In America, we think that if something is 200 years old we should rope it off and let people look at it but not touch it. Not the case here. The stuff in the museum is untouchable but there is much outside that is still in use. Such as the the coliseum that they still have concerts in now.
